322/43

When one looks across the river in the direction of Manhattan, it is difficult not of notice the void of the Twin Towers. After ten years this somber reminder of the horrors of that day, still saddens me.

It will still be a number of years before the Freedom Towers will be occupied and the streets full of man in pin strip suits and ladies in heels. But after yesterday’s visit we can be sure the skyline will, shortly, once again bare the silhouettes of the tall and mighty Financial Center.

I love how the HDR allowed you to both capture the clouds in the sky and the reflection of other buildings in the new construction!

Trish, this is a great shot. I'm glad that you commented on my Skywatch posting, because it brought me to your blog. I'm really impressed with your beautiful photos. I see you've shown us what's in your bag, have you shared any of technique tips anywhere?

I love these photos. I'm looking forward to making it back to NYC, I haven't been since 2002.
