Weekend Snapshot: Neighbors

This has been one of those hectic weeks. It started out with a pre-calculus test, and it ended with a family member being diagnosed with a serious illness. In addition, B and I both had to work yesterday. So, in search of some peace and solace, this morning we went for a well-deserved walk to the bay. We found one of our neighbors, the Great Egret, was out fishing.

I look at these and think of Dylan Thomas's "heron priested shore." That goes for this one, too!

Sandy ~ remind me of the book "The Mermaid Chair" ~ Sue Monk Kidd.

Every once in a while a white heron visits at a bay near me. A wonderful sight to see! :D

Eastcoast ~ a nice walk in the fields with my puppies always make me feel better, thank you.

Gus & Louie ~ I take tons of photos but I, also, delete most of them. Digital cameras were wonderful.
