I continue to celebrate National Migratory Bird week day. Although, Redwing Black birds are plentiful at the refuge, I have the most difficult time capturing a photo of one. They are easily frightened and fast to fly off. Yesterday, I was able to sneak up on this little feathered fellow.

Nice. Would you believe there was a time when I actually looked up that bird in my book to see what it was called? Lol...true story. A long time ago!!!

Great capture, I can't seem to get a single shot of the feathered subjects. Mind you I always have kids in tow. Sneaking up on the birds is not happening ,lol.

Great capture! Those blackbirds seem to come in big flocks and stay in the topmost branches in my yard. I have, however, seen them on the ground in parking lots of all places.

Gorgeous capture! You did absolutely great! I've been trying to catch these myself around here (granted I am not patient).
