Generally, I am fairly good at identifying flowers, plants, and trees.
However, I am clueless as to what this is. I just liked it.

My problem is I know something about English flowers but not the native american flowers I encounter these days. I've no idea what this is but I really like this photo!

Flowers are a wonder in any of stage of development if we just stop to look and observe.

Beautiful shot! I think I may have come across it tonight in my search to identify another flower, but I don't remember what it was. I looked at way too many flowers! :)
