Party Time!!

If you're here for the party, we have moved "outside" as the weather is beautiful today. Grab yourself a drink and come on out to the hot tub!

Glorious Day:

After several dark dreary days, today the sun decided to make an appearance; and it was glorious. The temperature reached nearly 65 and I could feel the sun’s warmth reaching down to my chilled bones. I spent most of the day out basking in the glory of this day, defrosting and blighting my mood. I took a walk around a near by historic village and found I was not the only one in need of some sunshine. To my delight, I spotted these girls sunbathing.

Bragging:

I needed to brag on “my man”. Yes, that is B ironing and de-fuzzing; the best part is those are MY pants. I didn’t get them pressed last night and this morning when I got out of the shower, there he was with the iron in hand. Oh, but wait… this evening he called and quote, “I know you had a long day, how about meeting at the diner for dinner.” I just can’t hate a day like this! XOXO

A Little Pick Me UP:

The weather, dark and dreary, is echoing my mood. Needing a “little pick me up”, and having sometime between school and work, I grabbed my 4-legged friend and we headed over to the boardwalk. The winds were strong and it was at least 20 degrees cooler than inland but before running back to the shelter of my vehicle, I took a few quick shots. They were just what I needed, although their colorful cars stood still, my mind could hear the sounds of summer.

Bell's Birthday:

On this date, March 3rd 1847, Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone, was born. In his honor I am posting this photo. It may not be the best but I have always liked it. Here's B explaining the cell phone to him. Although, Alexander politely sat and listened to the explaination he didn't really seem to understand. He had a "waxy" expression.

Show Time:

When I made the reservations here for the blog party no one told me there was planned bridal show going on at the same time. The room became a bit crowded so we moved the blog party over "here" ! Come and join us.


One of perks of B’s job; we often have the opportunity to attend concerts, shows and general events. This weekend afforded such an opportunity. B was MC at a local bridal show and I, just, had to tag along. I wouldn’t miss the chance to see "my man" in a tuxedo nor the chance to take some fun photos.

New Photo Meme:

While I was hop, skipping and jumping through some of my favorite blogs, I found this new photo meme over at "Vitamin Sea" . All you have to do is post photos of signs, from around your town, which make you wonder, laugh, or that are just interesting. Well, I often pass this sign and it makes my mind wander off (to some gutter) and wonder, what exactly is that they are selling at this mall?
