Admittedly, I am not certain what kind of flower this is. It was growing along the 8 mile roadside path at the Refuge. I really liked it and I thought it looked like pink pearls.

I took a picture of the same flower when we were blueberry picking the other day- I had never seen one before, but they are cool! Then I saw a bunch of them in the Shop Rite parking lot today...growing out of the stones of all places!

Very pretty - the color is so soft and lovely.
I don't know what it is either, but it's pretty neat. Isn't it great to find these treasures with your camera?
Okay...let me just say I love what you're doing with your new lens!!! I'm not sure, but it might be a member of the allium/onion family
