Over the years, I learned ISO, shutter speed, the type of glass and use of a tripod are all important parts of achieving this result. In my quest to raise to this level, I purchased a DSRL, I learned about ISO and shutter speed, and purchased several tripods (one large heavy one and one gorilla pod). However, it just seems there are some situations in which it is just not possible to obtain such perfection.

Not only is it tack sharp, it's also razor sharp!
(And go "uncross" that word obsessed. We are obsessed and proud of it! Haha)
This is a very cool picture!
Fascinating! Love the dangerous points.

Some things need a bit of blur to enhance thier drama. Awesome photo!
I like the selective focus you've chosen.
And I know what you mean about sharpness - I've got a bunch of photos that would have been really good had they been more sharp.
ooh this is a great picture! I love it!
That looks dangerous. I agree with you on the tack sharp appeal of pictures. I love tack sharp. I'm still working to achieve it though. You've succeeded!
Pretty sharp macro! Nicely done!
I'm obsessed as well. It's weird, because I didn't think I'd be this way. I'm also obsessed with tack sharp photos as well. I adjusted the settings in my camera and that's helped out too.
COOL SHOT!
Sharp indeed!!! Very cool!
Great sharp makroshot!

Is this razor wire? It looks wickedly sharp... Lovely lighting...
Now this is the perfect example of sharp. Exceptional photo.
What a "sharp pic!" I thank you for stopping by and am sorry the pics were not there. I tried to up load them again. I hope with more success! Cathy
wow! excellent image...I love the abstract nature of it!
I totally agree about sharp photos, Trish - they are the most interesting to me, no matter the subject. It is so hard to get that sharpness as a beginner, though, and I'm looking forward to when I've really mastered that skill.
Great job on picturing "sharp" in this photo, too:)
And thank you for your suggestion on one of my posts last week to use a neutral density filter to decrease light. I've read a little about these, but don't know much. I'll looking into them now, though:)
I agree with you, the clarity and sharpness that can be achieved is amazing and something I always strive for. Great job on this.
Very nice! =)
Wow hate to get caught in that!!!!
