~ the first peep of Easter ~
I am not particularly fond of the sugar coated marshmallowie goodness of a “peeps”. Ever several years I become so lost in the joy of Easter and the rebirth of Spring, I forgot I have a distaste for them and will bite one of their little yellow heads off. Once the sweetest hits my taste buds, the memory of not liking them comes rushing back and instantly the remainder of the sweet marshmallow hit’s the trash. As a reminder of my dislike for these forsythia color Easter chicks, B gave me a stuffed beanie type. I do admit they’re really cute.
Congratulations to everyone who has made it to post 100!
Wow- New Jersey and California ARE in different time zones- I just posted 99! Congrats to you! Nice focus and color on your beanie baby! And BTW, I can't stand the taste of peeps either!
hehe I feel the same way! But I have the same stuffie and think it's pretty cute. Too bad they taste horrid. I can't stand those or cadbury creme eggs.
I just love the colors! (But then again, I am partial to the magenta!)
I don't like them either. My husband does, but only after the package has been opened and they are a little hard. Gross, I know!
Happy 100th! I too dislike peeps, but that is a great alternative.
It is cute! I don't like to eat peeps either. :)
Does anyone like those peeps? Add me to the list...except for this one. Cute.
WTG on 100 posts. Keep up the good work. :) I like peeps when they're stale. LOL! My dad would always open the package up, and place it on top of the fridge until they were a stale but still edible. So that's how I grew up eating them. If we had enough, we'd toss them in the microwave and watch them blow up. ROFL!
This one's cute!
I am so with you -
I hate peeps too
B loves them -
they kinda gross me out!!
Um... I'll eat peeps... kind of like them... but only once a year! Though I think I like watching them fight in the microwave more!!! This one is adorable!! =)
OH... and Happy 100th!! WTG!
