Lucy from yesterday’s photo stands at the south end of Absecon Island. The north end of the Island is home to the Absecon Lighthouse and the famed Atlantic City, the city of the original Monopoly board. In the 1920s, the boardwalk was made famous by it’s steel pier and Diving Horses. When Resorts International purchased the pier, in 1978, the last horse made the 60 foot dive into the 10 feet of water which filled a small pool.
Today the City is home to many gambling casinos. B and I are not fans of the tables or the slots however we do enjoy a nice walk along the boards, and this lovely lady enjoys the view.

That place seems really neat! Love the photos. Wasn't there a movie made off those diving horses? It seems to be ringing a bell in my head for some reason. Kind of nuts they're let horses dive off that!
Great collage, I love the Lighthouse photo. Framed by a beautiful clear sky.
You really aren't far from me at all... lovely shots!
We will have to get together someday and have a snap-happy picture party! :)
Such a cool collage! Should be a postcard!
I love all the pictures you posted of the Jersey Coast and boardwalk. I hope to one day see that area of our country.
The collage is awesome!
I'll have to pick your brain one day about the diving horses- we were wondering why that's the "icon" for the AC Outlets
These are gorgeous Trish. I love them all!
I'm hosting a new linkie at my site called Fabulous Friday and I'd love it if you would participate!
