Camera Critter #8:

We like to say Murphy is a “good boy”. Due to his constant urge to run; we have determined he will most likely never make the status of being “best boy”. However, with the recent visit of our 17 month old granddaughter, perhaps we need to rethink this. He was especially gentle with her.

dogs (animals in general) are so gentile when it comes to children. Our dogs are very patient when our 2 year old gets too close for comfort... terrific shot, so sweet.

Maybe I'm just overly emotional today, but that photo is so precious it brought tears to my eyes. Yes, I'm a 'sap', but I LOVE this photo!

They always amaze you , don't they??

I've never had a dog that wasn't good with kids - especially babies. It's just like... they know!

What a good boy! Animals that are patient with children win extra points in my book. What a sweetie (the child and the dog!).

I don't know what he would need to do to be "best boy" after this photo. He's certainly better than a "good boy". Great shot.

Oh that is such a neat photo, you can just see how gentle he is with her as from this angle it looks like the fingers are pretty close to the eyeball
