I don’t consider myself a girl who requires frills, bells and whistles. I don’t need all, or the best clothes, money can buy (I didn’t mention camera here!). So I was very happy with my old cell phone, which was used mostly for text messaging. I am not one who carried it everywhere, and I have never used the camera. In fact, the only photos I have on the phone are those of me trying to answer the darn thing!
When it recently became time for an upgrade, I decided to take the plunge and go with one of those fancy “do everything” phones. You know the ones with “apps”. I didn’t think I would use many of the features, and certainly not all of them, but I did like the idea of having GPS on hand and the thought of being able to go on the internet during work breaks sounded appealing.
Fast forward a week, I am now going to the ladies room to check and see if my current opponent played their word on “words with friends”… welcome to the 21 century Trish!

Sounds like my wife. She never thought she would use it all that much, then she began exploring 'apps'. My phone is basic in comparison. She is the only one I ever call or receive calls from, which is an issue for I never have the darn thing turned on. I hear about it when I return home.
