Shyla ♥ celebrated her 13th month birthday on the 21st. She will only be with us for a few more months before returning for her evaluation and harness training.
At the bimonthly meeting on Wednesday evening, I put in a request for my next Seeing Eye puppy, my 14th. I did not request a certain breed. I only asked for a female. So when the newest little "baby girl" arrives I will be surprised as to the breed and B ... well, he's just be surprised! :-)

Yay! A new puppy to take pictures of! Congratulations! And "surprise" to B! LOL :)
She's a gorgeous dog! Congrats to her and you. What a very unselfish thing for you to do... I wouldn't be able to turn them back in again. Kudos to you who just do. Can't wait to see the new one!
Kudos! I'm so happy there are strong willed helpers like you...I wouldn't be able to say good bye to such a sweet girl. Number 14, wow. You are awesome, really.
Sweet photo.
shes so beautiful
I don't know how you do it
I'd get too attached - it's wonderful what you do though
Beautiful Pup! I don't know how you do it. I grow such an attachment to animals but what you do is wonderful and amazing! :) Can I ask how you get such amazing exposure when photography her? When I try to shoot my black lab, she is always way underexposed or over exposed and I have a hard time getting detail in her.
Beautiful dog!
Awwwwwwwwww I want her L:-)
She is beautiful! I just read your Seeing Eye Puppies section --what a wonderful program. I'll never hear the end of it till we get one if my kids ever get wind of that program. :)
Happy Birthday Shyla!
love love love!!!!!
love all black labs in the world :)
I love that you guys do this! It's just so endearing and kind of you. And such sweet pups. It must be hard to have to say goodbye when they are old enough to be placed!
That's so cool that you bring up these seeing eye pups! This black one is very pretty.
What a beautiful dog. :)
You are a stronger girl than me. I can't imagine putting in that much time with a pup to see it go. Of course, it's for a wonderful cause.
