My World ~

The long, warm, beautiful beach days of summer are but a memory now. They have been replaced by the cooler, dark, dreary, rainy days of Autumn. Long are the days of sand between my toes. For now I’ll have to settle for the warmth of a fireplace and a pair of comfy slippers.

Unlike you I can't say I'm sorry to see summer end. I like the shot you used for this post. Goes well with the words.

WE have just left the dreary days of wintger behind us. I like the clowns - is it an amusement park?

But there is a lot to be said for a warm fire and slippers. I will miss my time in the mountains, though. No more skiing for me these days. I will retreat to lower elevations 'till spring.

Great post and I can relate, we're having more gray skies and chilly weather earlier than usual. This is a great shot that does indeed go well with your words! Hope you have a good week!

Wonderful angle in this photo, and it looks great in black and white..

Summer has moved along, and the birds are marking the change by returning to us for their months by the feeder. I miss the warmth, but the cool air has me quickening my pace! Beautiful post.

Great captured of black and white here : )

Nice shot. Summer doesn't seem to want to end here, we're still seeing unending blue skies and warm days. The blue skies are common, but warm days are rather unusual by October.

The beach is looking a little soulful and although I'm not much for winter the fireplace and slippers sound nice.

Fascinating photo. The clowns of autumn look almost sad.

A melancholy photo. Although a roaring fire sounds cozy and enjoyable too.

Every season has its nice moments, although this time we didn't have a warm summer and I am sorry we are heading for winter.

Black and white photography perfectly captures the gray season we're entering. I'm already looking forward to next spring.
