Marco Monday ~ Milkweed Motel

I am not one to complain about getting old. As a matter of fact, these are the best years of my life, with one exception, my eyesight is not what it use be. I need my reading glasses to see just about everything up close.

Our local butterfly garden is home to numberous milkweed plants. While visiting last week, I noticed 2 red bugs on this neon green pod. Not having my glasses with me, I started to clicking away, only to find, after uploading to my computer and making the image visible to my aging eyes, what it was that those 2 red bugs were actually doing.

It would seem they were too busy to notice you. :)
Nice shot - especially when enlarged.

Well, a bit of soft bug porn won't do us any harm :-)
I know what you mean about the glasses. Irritating isn't it just.

Hahahhaha makes me laugh about what Poetic shutterbug say. Since we have box elder trees around we always have that kind of bugs and they always do that lol!! That's why they multiply like crazy. ^_^ Happy Monday!

I know exact the feeling and the surprise when watching snapped photos in the computer. The worse eyesight the more surprise ;-)

Great shot, even without your glasses!

I'm thinking those two are enjoying a little afternoon delight. Great shot! And I'm with you on the glasses. I've noticed that small print is nearly impossible to read. Good thing daughter bought me a magnifying glass for my birthday this year. ;)

I like the composition of this shot (great story to go with it) It looks a smidge under exposed to me. If you post your settings, we may be able to figure out why :O) I also really like the DOF.
