My World Tuesday: 4-14

With the arrival of Spring's warmer weather, "our" boardwalk and beaches will soon be crowded with "bennies".
*after several comments perhaps I should define "Bennies" ~ for many years, out of towners only carried $100 bills, with face of Benjamin Franklin. Since none of the locals had change for this large bill, these out of towners became known as Bennies.

I think it's funny that it looks like each bench is turned each way. :) Nice to be able to be back outside more!

Bennies, I will have to remember that as we get weekenders too in the summer months. Not such big crowds though. Very nicely taken angle.

Personally do you like bennies or not? :D

I like this photo very much.

I do like bennies (a new word for me!) and I also like tourists. They stroll through the streets and are seemingly relaxed and happy, curious, laughing, enjoying, at their ease. But I also love places which are not crowded, from time to time, especially on my hiking trips!
Thank you for your visit on my blog! Have a nice week!

That looks like a good bench to slouch on, and I'm ready to sit.

Yes, I am sure these benches along the waterside a very much sought after when the weather warms up.
Excellent picture.

"Bennies" - interesting. I thought the entire world carried only $20 bills these days, thanks to our ubiquitous ATMs.

In any case, I've always thought the best time to be at the beach is when no one else is there.

I love going places but I hate being a tourist. I like to pretend that I live year 'round at the places I visit!

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting your blog, I went all the way back to last summer. Boy am I tired and hot now too. Love your dogs, your beach, the big city and your view of it all!

Really like how each bench faces the opposite direction. Great photo. Seems like tourists always end up with their own name! Bennies is quite descriptive!

I like that view of the boardwalk. When I lived in the eastern Sierra we called folks from LA "flatlanders". They were the folks who would stop in the middel of the highway to put on chains.

Bennies eh. Nice descriptive nomination. Seems like EJ's has change for 100 dollar bills.
This entry made me smile when I thought of all that spring brings out in places of the world.

Bennies! I suppose the British banknotes are called Quenies? We have the Euro now so there 's not such a person to be found! But it's a very good name for a bank note and consequently for the owner of the money. Great photos!
