87/278

Anyone who personally knows me will testify to the fact, I am getting downright ugly. Living through this endless winter is now just plain old and I am starting to whine, cry, and complain about it at every chance I get. It as 16 degree when I awoke this morning. Ugghh!

Yesterday, Phriend and I attended a free Nikon, 2 hour, photography class. It was taught by a reprehensive from Nikon. An informative class in which many questions were asked and answered. After the class, in hopes of lifting my winter blues, Phriend suggested we stop by a botanical garden and to our delight there was a green house. We raced inside in hopes of soaking up some of the warmth and fabulous spring floral blooms. We spent an hour taking over 600 photos between us. In fact, I took so many photos, I became “sea sick” from watching all the focusing through my lens. It was so worth it.

I'm glad I have yet to see this side of you! The camera must have magical powers- once it gets in your hand, all negative thoughts vanish (or maybe you're just thinking happy thoughts :)
I'm glad we went out, despite the cold, I had a great time! (I hope you feel better!)

Such a bright cheerful flower should really help eliminate the winter blues. I'm so jealous of the Nikon workshop. I can only imagine how great that was!
