Beautiful colors and really gives the misty, mouldering feel of the woods. They are like tree barnacles.
I love the very technical and scientific term you have assigned to this growth! Great photo. The light is amazing!
each summer i get passionate about the fungus and mushrooms in the forest where our cottage lives. such fun photos.
